Car ride

My car, because the seat holds you closer.
My queen, come inside.
We’ll get where we’re headed with my stick shift.
I pick the long route.
Look at the pink sun in her black dress. Her kisses.
Climbing hills, rolling, in Los Angeles.
Driving fast.
Heated in sweating summer, but the fan feels nice.
Found a parking lot entrance to finish a pretty flick.
Canceled plans, we ride into the dusk.
To other galaxies, we’re coming soon.
Bouncing to the beats, to home, we’re on our way!
