I got our baskets

Loud machines, music, voices clamorous, garbled
Swirling are soap water and anonymous lives of thread
Resting stop for timelines, trapped in a pause, surreal

Brilliant work, creator

All’s dark and lovely as it must be

The chaos of noise is drowned, scrubbed in suds
Me, kissed, selected by Her trusting, giving heart
Neck
Waist
Fingers

To our playlist, in a dream of a day, fold each, fold
Always, I am your partner to wash, fold each, fold
Garments, blankets, or towels, fold each fold
Dirty hours to pure
No palm empty
Magic and wishes rinsed in reality, fold
You, sunniest, completion
At last, the full load of white clothes
