TELESCOPIC

POEM

Nike Space Hippies are dangling off of thinned sheets of
hydrogen
and helium in the exosphere, space head, pointed down
to the left, inspecting the violet black void —
our gravity-woven blanket draped ‘round blue corona.
Rolled my neck, counter-clockwise one hour to stare
in sad confusion. Wasted beauty.
