The music is gone

The shuttle's left to the long shadow.

I closed the door.

Pocketed astronaut alas unmasked.

No pity for the lone explorer, in his cold space.

No more electromagnetic radio waves.

Can't see the beaming green.

Entering an empty ocean, shimmering, interstellar.

I will make songs to smile.

In the mornings and in the quiet darkness.
