YOU ARE THE COLOR OF LIFE TO MY CORNEA

You are the aqua-blue moon which shined on seductive
eyes in May. You are hypnotic strobe lights showing the
dance floor in darkness.

You are the neon-cyan fruit tree I found beaming in the
city; incandescent roots nourish my hungering heart and
skeleton.

You are cool water caressing me afloat in the Pacific;
in your midst, speed limits are scarcely seen.
You are the perfect color for any outfit in our closet.
You are — according to science and statistics, impossible.
You are thirst-quenching.
You are the billowy, lemon-blue tent by the cove
where time drank refreshing mellow beats and
Mexican beers for a siesta . . .
